Steve Bannon on Monday told the War Room Posse that Matt Gaetz should return to Congress to help President Trump Drain The Swamp, telling the RINOs in Congress and House Ethics Committee, “Take the ethics report and shove it up your ass.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House Ethics panel secretly voted to release its lawfare report of Matt Gaetz before the end of this Congress. The Republicans hold a majority on the Committee, suggesting that RINOs on the Committee voted with Democrats to smear Gaetz with allegations that were already debunked by Biden’s DOJ.
The Gateway Pundit confronted House Ethics Committee Chair Michael Guest (R-MS) on Wednesday, and he refused to answer any of our questions or say whether or not he voted for the release.
The report, released on Monday, alleged that Gaetz made tens of thousands of dollars in payments to women for sex while he was a member of Congress and committed other so-called ‘crimes.’
The Gateway Pundit reported that Gaetz responded to the report in explosive fashion with a series of tweets. This included testimony from witnesses saying she “never charged anyone anything” and they “never discussed money.” “This is testimony from one of the alleged ‘prostitutes’ that you won’t see in the report!” Gaetz said. “Giving funds to someone you are dating – that they didn’t ask for – and that isn’t ‘charged’ for sex is now prostitution?!?”
It should be noted that the Ethics Committee revived the junk allegations against Gaetz, even after the Biden DOJ exonerated Gaetz of criminal wrongdoing and dropped the charges in February 2023.
The investigation was reopened in 2023 as Gaetz ramped up challenges to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was later ousted by Gaetz’s Motion to Vacate the chair. Later, when Gaetz threatened to bring a Motion to Vacate against McCarthy in October 2023, McCarthy’s RINO allies began threatening to expel Gaetz based on the Committee’s investigation.
Gaetz has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
Last month, Gaetz withdrew his name from being considered for AG due to the unfair distraction from President Trump’s next term caused by the Deep State and RINOs. Gaetz has since announced that he’s joining One America News Network’s (OANN) primetime lineup, hosting “The Matt Gaetz Show” every weeknight for his next chapter after leaving Congress last month, The Gateway Pundit reported.
However, more recently, Gaetz has threatened to “participate in Speaker election” during his duly elected term in Congress next month and air out his colleagues’ dirty laundry by releasing names of congressmen who used taxpayer funds to settle sexual harassment lawsuits. He also floated the idea of throwing his hat in the ring for Marco Rubio’s open Senate seat after Lara Trump while addressing the Turning Point Action conference in Phoenix, Arizona on Sunday.
Bannon gave his love to OANN but said, “Matt Gaetz does not need to be a talk show host,” adding, “The action is going to be in the House.”
“He had resigned from this Congress. He hasn’t resigned from the next one,” Bannon said. “We need Matt Gaetz to show up [on January 3rd] and be sworn in,” he said before noting that the release of the BS Ethics Committee report “is all because Kevin McCarthy got turfed out.”

That wouldn’t have happen if Matt Gaetz was actually fully engaged. He had resigned from this Congress. He hasn’t resigned from the next one. There’s two options for Gaetz, and the option can be One America News. I love the Herrigs. I love what one America stands for. It’s a great little channel, although it’s got issues because they kicked it off cable, right?
But Matt Gaetz does not need to be a talk show host. You’ve got enough crazy people like Tucker Carlson and myself, Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, yelling in microphones. We need a man in the arena, and that arena has got to be Capitol Hill, Congress, the House. The action is going to be in the House. Now think about it; that’s where the advice and consent— I called the Senate the human resources department, and it can have a big impact. In the first term with the 4000, the 1000 Senate-confirmed, Mitch McConnell went out of his way to break us. They approved and confirmed their guys, the ones they wanted in the Trump administration.
Michael Pack, for instance, that oversaw VOA over at the global media apparatus. Michael, because of his relationship with me and how aggressive he was, was I think, held up for two or three years. This is why Carrie Lake’s at VOA, so we can get her in right away. But the house is where the action is. It’s where the action is going to be. Why? Because all revenue generation, ie taxes, tariffs, all that, comes from the house by the Constitution— and all spending.
So the cuts, the action, the fights in the House, are going to be enormous. I keep telling you all this. You know it; I don’t need to tell you. You guys know it. You know it better than I do. We need Gaetz back. Matt, Gaetz must be returned, and I want to get this thing rolling. So Grace, I need this to go viral, and it’s going to be the Harper Valley PTA. Hey, Ethics Committee. Suck on this, folks. Matt Gaetz ought to walk in and throw down hard. He should throw down hard. He should throw down hard. Let’s name names, let’s show the receipts.
This is hypocrisy. This is all because Kevin McCarthy got turfed out. Matt Gaetz did something that’s unique in his front. Remember, we’ve taken out the last three speakers, Boehner, Ryan; last three Republican speakers, Boehner, Ryan, and McCarthy. But McCarthy was the most important because it was about spending. We would not be in the financial situation; this country would not be in the financial situation if this guy had not given what to we now know is an illegitimate regime. This is why McCarthy had to go. Trump dug in hard and came back; McCarthy surrendered. He submitted to an illegitimate regime and gave him a full runway to spend whatever they wanted. Matt Gaetz had the stones and the brilliance and the strategic understanding and the tactical. These individuals are unique. They’re not replicated. I can tell you this as somebody who’s been in this fight a long time, Gaetz is a unique individual with all his flaws, and his flaws are a lot and they’re deep, but we’re not looking for saints right now. We’re at war. This is a political war.
Bannon further told the RINOs, “Take the ethics report and shove it up your ass.” He said of Gaetz’s current plan, “To go to One America is to accept defeat.”

To go to One America is to accept defeat. Take the ethics report and shove it up your ass. That’s what I think. Gaetz must return like Trump returned. Don’t back down; double down.
