Marco Rubio gave an epic response to leftist reporters when one asked if the Administration is attempting to compel the release and return of deported MS-13 member Kilmar Garcia Abrego.
“I would never tell you that, and you know who else I would never tell? A judge,” he said, slamming the judiciary for attempting to force the administration to traffic an illegal alien into the country.
The US Supreme Court recently ordered the US to facilitate the return of alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, partially siding with District Court Judge Paula Xinis.
Abrego Garcia’s deportation was previously blocked by a judge in 2019 over his safety concerns, but he was deported under the Alien Enemies Act in 2025.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump’s DOJ argued in court that “federal courts have no authority to direct the Executive Branch to conduct foreign relations in a particular way, or engage with a foreign sovereign in a given manner,” and that they cannot forcibly take the individual back or force El Salvador to return him. Officials have also said that if Garcia Abrego was returned, he would just be deported again for being in the country illegally.
Rubio told reporters during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday “the conduct of our foreign policy belongs to the President of the United States and the Executive Branch, not some judge,” and indicated that they will never cave.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth can be seen cracking up after the reporter’s stupid question.
WATCH:
Reporter: Have you been in touch with El Salvador about returning Abrego Garcia as a formal request from this administration?
Rubio: Well, I would never tell you that, and you know who else I would never tell? A judge. Because the conduct of our foreign policy belongs to the President of the United States and the Executive Branch, not some judge. So, we will conduct foreign policy appropriately if we need to, but I’ll never discuss it, and no one will ever make us discuss it because that’s how foreign policy works.
Likewise, President Trump and his team humiliated CNN’s Kaitlan Collins earlier this month in a brutal exchange after she ridiculously asked whether or not they plan to ask El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to help smuggle the foreign terrorist into the United States.
Rubio told Collins during the exchange, “The foreign policy of the United States is conducted by the President of the United States, not the court, and no court in the United States has the right to conduct the foreign policy of the United States.”
