Another unhinged elitist learns the hard way: play stupid games, win felony charges.
A Tesla Cybertruck parked at the prestigious Omni Mount Washington Resort in New Hampshire became the target of senseless vandalism over the weekend.
The footage—shared by Tesla owner Kerri Pouliot on X—shows the man casually exiting his vehicle, glancing at the Cybertruck, and then dragging a key or object along its side, causing visible damage.
“Our Tesla cyber truck was vandalized this weekend in NH. While staying at our hotel, our vehicle was keyed within an hour of arriving,” Pouliot wrote on X.
“James “Jim” Pelis & Chuck Smith either didn’t know or didn’t care that they would be recorded. Charges pending! Class A felony in NH.”
Despite clear video evidence, the man—identified online as James “Jim” Pelis—flat-out denied the act when confronted by police.
In a video shared by Pouliot, Pelis was seen wearing the same outfit he wore when he committed the crime and is heard saying, ‘I don’t know what happened,’ when asked about the incident. When an officer pressed further, asking, ‘You didn’t key that Tesla?’ Pelis simply replied, ‘No.’

According to the Daily Mail, Carroll Police Chief Tadd Bailey confirmed that the incident occurred on March 22 and is being actively investigated in coordination with the Coos County Attorney’s Office.
ArmorCode, Pelis’s employer, issued a statement on X, clearly desperate to distance themselves from their rogue employee without actually naming him.
“ArmorCode has been made aware of an incident where one of our employees allegedly vandalized a Tesla vehicle. We of course do not condone violence or destruction of private property in any way, period. This is now in the hands of the proper authorities,” the startup company wrote.
