New details regarding the passengers onboard the airplane that crashed in Pennsylvania Friday have emerged, and chilling audio reveals the moments leading up to the crash less than three miles away from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, where the flight took off.
The jet was reportedly a Learjet 55 medevac flight operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance. The jet was carrying six individuals: two pilot crew, two medical personnel, a young female patient, and an escort.
According to Fox, all passengers were Mexican nationals. The patient was in the U.S., receiving life-saving medical treatment, according to a spokesperson for the flight operator.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the tragedy Friday night when the plane crashed in Philadelphia, exploding upon impact with or around multiple houses and causing numerous casualties. Multiple homes caught fire.

Audio from the air traffic control tower reveals how air traffic controllers lost contact with the plane before the crash.
At one point in the tape, an operator asks, “What’s going on down there?”
Another responds, “We have a lost aircraft. We’re not exactly sure what happened. So, we’re trying to figure it out. For now, the field is going to be closed, so no inbounds or outbounds, probably.”
It is still unclear what caused the loss of connection and subsequent crash.

President Trump responded to the tragedy Friday night following a briefing by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
According to Duffy, six people were aboard the flight en route to Missouri’s Springfield-Branson International Airport. Duffy further confirmed that the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
As the investigation remains ongoing, one retired pilot speculated that the cause of the crash was an equipment malfunction.
More from Fox News:
John Anderson, a retired pilot from Philadelphia, told Fox News Digital that, based on the video of the crash and the way the aircraft struck the ground, the likely cause was a takeoff stall.
“The plane was out of the crew’s control. It was not controlled flight into terrain (CFIT). May have been a mechanical malfunction of the stabilizer, elevator, trim or even a load shift rearward within the cabin,” Anderson said.
He further speculated that if “it was a medical flight with a stretcher on board and the stretcher was not properly secured, it may have rolled rearward.”
“This would cause the nose to raise and stall the wing. In that case, the nose will drop with the angle in the video,” he said. “Because it was right after takeoff and the initial climb, I would say it was likely aswing stall. There could be a number of factors that would cause a stall. Could have been a runaway trim, malfunctioning stabilizer.”
Notably, this latest incident comes after an American Airlines flight from Wichita, Kansas, collided with a U.S. military helicopter late Wednesday night, less than 48 hours earlier.
President Trump has blamed incompetence and DEI hiring practices as a potential cause of Wednesday’s tragedy. The President addressed Wednesday’s crash during a press conference Thursday and pointed out the disastrous record of Pete Buttigieg, the DEI hire and former Transportation Secretary.
The sick, far-left media has already used Wednesday’s tragedy to attack Trump.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, National Transportation Safety Board Chair Jennifer Homendy responded to a leftist MSNBC crank, asking if Trump’s suggestion that DEI and incompetence may have played a role in Wednesday’s crash was hurting their investigation. Homendey shut the reporter down, responding, “I think the press also likes to state what probable cause is before we get to the probable cause. So, what I’m going to say is you need to give us time.”
We can expect these twisted leftist reporters to continue their attacks on President Trump over this latest incident. These morally depraved individuals don’t waste a good tragedy.
The Gateway Pundit will continue to provide updates on these incidents.
