87-year-old Jack Nicholson was publicly shown for the first time in nearly two years amid rumors the iconic actor was becoming a recluse.
Nicholson’s daughter, Lorraine, posted a rare photo of the two to Instagram.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicholson was last seen at a Los Angeles Lakers game in 2023.

The star of The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest used to be a courtside regular at L.A. Lakers games and was reportedly last publicly seen at this playoff game in 2023, which he attended along with his son, Jim Nicholson.
Nicholson lives in a Mulholland Drive residence in Beverly Hills, a 3,303-square-foot property he purchased from Marlon Brando in 2005. In recent years there have been unverified reports of people who were once close to the actor being concerned that he was becoming a recluse (not entirely unlike Brando in his later years). The new Instagram photo suggests his family is still very much a part of his life, however.
Nicholson’s last film was the 2010 romantic comedy How Do You Know, which also starred Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. His last hit film was 2006’s The Departed, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.
